TEO Family Security Privacy Policy

1. Purpose of this policy

This policy explains how TEO Family Security processes information when a parent uses the Parent application and pairs a protected Child device. The service is designed for family cybersecurity and device-security visibility.

2. Information processed

Depending on the features used, the service may process account and family identifiers, child profile information supplied by the parent, device and installation identifiers, pairing information, installed-application inventory and application-change events, security findings, security events, incidents, recommendations, behavior timeline entries, protection state, heartbeat/connectivity metadata, device health information, and technical diagnostics needed to operate and secure the service.

3. Why the information is used

• To link the correct Parent and Child applications.
• To provide background protection and security-event visibility.
• To identify application changes and security findings.
• To show protection, connection and device-health status to the parent.
• To maintain service security, reliability, troubleshooting and abuse prevention.

4. Children and parent-controlled use

TEO Family Security is a parent-focused protection service. The Parent account establishes and manages the family relationship and pairs protected Child devices. The Child application is not intended to operate as an independent social account or advertising profile.

5. Service providers

TEO Family Security uses Google Firebase services for authentication, cloud data storage and application infrastructure. Information required for these functions may be processed by Google under the terms and safeguards applicable to those services.

6. Advertising and sale of data

TEO Family Security is not designed around advertising. TEOFRAME does not sell TEO Family Security account or child-device security data for advertising purposes.

7. Security

Access controls are designed to scope family and device records to authorized identities. Data transmitted to supported cloud services uses standard encrypted transport provided by the platform and service provider. No security system can guarantee absolute protection.

8. Retention

Information is retained for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain account security and support the user relationship, unless deletion is requested or a longer period is required for a legitimate legal or security reason.

9. Account and data deletion

Parents can use the account deletion flow available in the Parent application. Additional deletion instructions are available on the TEO Family Security Data Deletion page.
